2024 OHC OFF ICE TRAINING PROGRAM

The Program

This is an eight week program that will prepare you athletes for the upcoming season. This program will focus on speed, agility, power, strength, and conditioning with each week focusing on a specific component. This program is all about making sure your athlete reaches full potential through transferable skills from off the ice to on the ice. As a hockey player one of the one things I prioritize in off ice training is speed and strength. The speed component of off-ice training will allow you to accelerate fast off opponents and escape from opposing players more quickly. The strength component allows you to be more powerful with your strides as well as having a strong lower body to protect the puck.

Program Focus - Speed, Reactive & Neurocognitive Training
