Andrew Verner - 2022 PROGRAM

10 Week Program

Andrew was named Assistant Coach of the Petes in August, 2014. He joined the Petes as Goaltender Coach following a 17-year professional career spanning the AHL, Canadian National Team, and 14 seasons in Europe. Andrew played for the Petes from 1989 to 1992.  He is a two-time OHL All-Star, 2nd round draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers (1991), AHL Calder Cup Champion (Cape Breton Oilers, 1993), Spengler Cup Gold Medalist (Kolner Haie, 1999), Men’s World Championship Silver and Bronze Medalist (Canadian National Team, 1996 & 1995, respectively), and Austrian League Champion (Klagenfurt AC 2003).  He has also worked as a Goaltending Consultant for Hockey Canada (2015 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Cup Champions), the Austrian National Team, OHL/OHF U16, and is the current Goaltending Consultant for the Peterborough Minor Petes AAA system. Andrew lives in Ennismore with his wife Allison, daughter Ella, and son Jacob.
